Class I-IIII
RETELL THE TALE
· Summarizing the Story: Children are encouraged to read and then summarize the story in about 5 sentences.
· Such an activity helps them to think about the story from its beginning to its end.
· It also helps them in understanding and differentiating between the important and
not-so-important elements of the story.
Class III-V
FOLKLORE FUN
· The teacher can select an interesting folk tale from the rich heritage of the partner state under the Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat program and read it in class and ask some students to enact it out.
